Anisur Rahman Sohag, accused in multiple murder cases for the killing of students in the anti-discrimination movement and close to the authoritarian Awami League, was invited as a special guest at the Shaheed Zia Memorial Cricket Tournament. Sohag was reckless during the previous government due to his friendship with former Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina's APS Hafizur Rahman Liku, Asaduzzaman Khan Kamal, Jahangir Kabir Nanak and Amir Hossain Amu. Despite the changed situation, this Sohag is in charge of looking after Hafizur Rahman Liku's 10th floor house in Madhu City, Basilar, Mohammadpur, in the capital.
